Margaret Gouldson and her husband Ron were members of the Eden Bowling Club for 25 years until Margaret's untimely passing at the age of 75. Margaret and Ron retired to Eden after holidaying in Eden for 45 years. They lived all their life in Pascoe Vale after migrating from Liverpool, England. She had three sons and it was Phil who attended the presentation. He said "that mum lived her rich life with enormous meaning". "The Bowling club gave her a magical time, and she had a strong connection with the club." " Mum could have been here today, listening to all the banter that was going on around the rinks".
The Eden Women's club is proud to run this annual event and it is a prestige event on the bowls calendar. Appreciation is extended to all the family whose generosity makes this day possible.
