NETHERCOTE SEASONAL MARKET
SATURDAY APRIL 24TH - 8AM TO NOON
Nethercote's Autumn kitchen and garden produce market will be held at the community hall on Saturday April 24th between 8 am and noon. On sale will be fruit and vegetables picked the night before, Lochiel raised beef, delicious home baking, smoked fish, chutney, plants, trees and a truck load of timely sheep poo for gardens in need of an autumn feed. Chef Brian Ahern will be back to give another fun & informative cooking demonstration, making fresh pasta and dishing up the results. Local jazz combo Easy Street will provide their famous foot-tapping music. And there will be the usual great cakes and coffee or BBQ breakfast for hungry shoppers, all in gorgeous surroundings.
Stalls can be arranged at the last minute for anyone with something to sell from their garden or kitchen; even modest amounts of produce can be included on a shared stall. What's more, growers and producers are entitled to Nethercote Seasonal Market discount card thanks to the generosity of local outlets.
