Sunday 20.3.11 - 9 am - Ecumenical Service

Conducted by Pastor Brian Dixon at Rotary Park overlooking Twofold Bay. All are welcome. Please bring a chair. In the event of bad weather, this will be held at the Eden RSL Hall in Calle calle St Eden.

Sunday 20.3.11 - 10 am - Complimentary Cruise on the legendary Cat Balou.

Enjoy a trip around Twofold Bay.Numbers are limited for this cruise so bookings are essential. Phone 6496 2094 or call at the Eden Killer Whale Museum, 182 Imlay St Eden. Tickets can be collected from the shop counter after booking. This event is subject to weather permitting at the discretion of Cat Balou Cruises.

The Broadband for Seniors internet training is abvailable at all times.Work individually, with assistance, through this self paced program.Bookings necessary. Call the Eden community Access Centre inc on 02 6496 3970 or call at the Centre to reservie your place.

Monday - 21.3.11 - 9.30 am to 11.30 am  Learn to Email

Introduction to email, setting up your account, sending and receiving emails, contact lists and attachments.  Eden Community Access Centre phone 02 6496 3790. There is a limit of 10 placements in this course so book early to avoid disapointment. 

Tuesday - 22.3.11 - 9.30 am - Morning Tea

At the Eden Killer Whale Museum, 182 Imlay St, Eden, a yummy morning tea will be served by the Friends of the Museum. Seniors can take this opportunity to visit the latest exhibition, "Collectoscope" celebrating the Museum's 80th year.

Tuesday - 22.3.11 - 10.30 am Bus Tour

A fun bus tour of the Eden township with some fun and games on the way. A way to show newcomers some hidden secrets of our town and for longer term locals to perhaps share some stories!!!!!!!!!! Phone 6496 2094 or call at Eden Killer Whale Mueum, 182 Imlay Street Eden.

Tuesday 22.3.11 - 12.30 pm Lunch at the Men's Shed

The fellows will provide a scrumptious lunch for all comers, enjoy some stimulating fellowship and perhaps even a sing song while experiencing the wonders being achieved by those men in their shed!

Wednesday 23.3.11 - 9.30 am - 1.30 pm Trials, Transportation and the Unknown

Beth Matthews, noted historian, tells about her award winning research into the lives of female convicts and their incarceration in the Female Factories, especially at Parramatta. Learn about their time there - of colonial convictions, riots, infants, marriages, etc. Listen to their stories of this happy, sad yet successful period of our colonial history.  Beth also tells of her experiences gathered over 23 years of researching her own family history.

All are welcome. This will be of great interest to those researching their family tree, those interested in Australian history and those who simply enjoy listening to a story where fact is larger than fiction. A gold coin donation would be appreciated.

Thursday 24 March - 9.30 - 11.30 am - Digital Photography

Installing and using Picasa 3 to edit photos. Learn how to use this free program to enhance your photos. Book you position by calling the Access Centre on 64976 3970 or call into see us. There is a limit of 10 pacements in this course, so book early to avoid disappointment.
