Eden Access Centre Update

We have air conditioning in our rooms now, thanks to a Jobs Fund grant acquired by Bega Valley Shire Council, and our disabled entry ramp is also ready to use. We thank those who worked so quickly to complete the job and we appreciate the efforts of all involved to have these facilities at the Centre. |
We received a range of funding for events. The Seniors Kiosks were from Broadband for Seniors which is part of the wider Australian Government initiative "Making Ends Meet - Plan for Older Australians, People with Disabilities and Carers". The games sessions were funded by a grant from the Community Technology Centres Association and "Stories from the Past" was funded by a grant from Bega Valley Shire Council and supported by members of the local Genealogy Society. We are very pleased that we were able to pass these opportunities on to you.
