Wilderness to Water – Lake Curalo Guided Walking Tour

The Wilderness to Water walking tours focus on environmental and cultural education through walking tours led by experts, as well as nature appreciation. We have an outstanding bunch of experts and lunchtime presentations as well as a delicious lunch provided by Blend Café.

• Explore foreshore vegetation with botanist, Jackie Miles;
• Discover estuarine processes with lake expert, Nick Yee;
• Learn about some of the cultural significance of the lake and surrounding region with a guide from the Eden Local Aboriginal Land Council;
• Lunchtime presentations on Eden revegetation and weed programs, threatened shorebirds, Clean Curalo community waste clean-up, Jigamy Farm cultural garden project, citizen science and more……
• Children nature activities are provided, so bring the family!
